1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Scanner PDF (“the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use and to Apple’s standard End User License Agreement available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Pricing & Payment

Scanner PDF is a PAID iOS application. Acquiring it requires a one-time purchase of $1.99 USD (price in your local currency may vary based on the App Store).

Payment is processed by Apple via the App Store. After purchase, the app is unlocked on every iOS device signed in with the same Apple ID — restore the purchase by re-downloading from the App Store with that Apple ID if needed.

Refund requests must be submitted to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com under the App Store policy. We have no ability to issue refunds directly.

3. License

Subject to these terms and your purchase, you receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on iOS devices you own or control, in line with the Apple Media Services Terms.

You may not redistribute, sell, lease, sublicense, decompile, reverse engineer, or modify the app or its assets, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.

4. Your Content

Documents, images, PDFs, and OCR text you produce with the app remain yours. The app stores them locally on your device. We do not access them.

You are solely responsible for the content you scan and for ensuring you have the right to scan, copy, and share it. Do not use the app to scan, reproduce, or distribute material in violation of intellectual-property, privacy, or other applicable laws.

5. Acceptable Use

Do not use the app for any unlawful purpose. Do not interfere with the app’s normal operation, attempt to bypass purchase verification, or use it to harass, defraud, or impersonate others.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

The app is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including (without limitation) merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

While we work hard on accurate edge-detection and OCR, no scanner is perfect — review your output before relying on it.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or profits arising out of or related to use of the app. Where law caps liability, our total liability is limited to the amount you actually paid for the app.

8. Changes

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated terms appear inside the app under Settings → Terms of Use and at this URL. Continued use after publication of updated terms is acceptance of those terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the law of the country of your App Store account, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute is to be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country provides otherwise.
